Did you know that you can make delicious chocolate cake out of garbanzo beans? We didn’t either. But you can!

The best part: it’s a simple, homemade recipe.


Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 (19 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
4 eggs
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar for dusting

The recipe only takes 15 minutes of prep time and 40 minutes of cooking, so you’re gluten free cake will be done in no time. You can follow along with written directions here.
