If you’re a fan of the Netflix show Emily in Paris, you probably know all about the fictional McBaguette sandwich from McDonald’s.

Only it’s not fictional anymore, and all you will need to do to get one is fly to France. Right now, France is the only place they’re available.

But they are available, and who knows? Maybe they will make their way to North America. If McDonald’s can make an extra buck selling them in the states … well, why not?

Anyway, while it’s OK to dream, the sandwiches are only available as part of a co-promotion with the show. And the show is set in Paris.

The McBaguette is actually a big part of Emily in Paris, and for those who haven’t watched the new season, we will leave it at that. Those who have seen it are wondering whether the sandwich is real, because it does look at least a little tantalizing.

So McDonald’s Has Brought it to Life.

@la_faim Le mcbaguette est de retour chez @mcdonaldsfrance ! Pour l’occasion on se fait une recette du sandwich maison🔥 Ingrédients Sauce : – 1cs soupe moutarde ancienne – 2 cs moutarde – 1 c d’huile tournesol – goutte jus de citron – 1 jaune d’œuf – 1 cs crème épaisse – sel poivre #mcbaguette #mcdo #recetterapide ♬ I’m Good (Blue) – David Guetta & Bebe Rexha

But let’s say you can’t make it to France. Many of us cannot, and many of us are smart enough not to go just to McDonald’s. That’s probably a good thing.

Better yet, social media is showing how to make the McBaguette at home. It just takes some Swiss cheese, a couple of hamburger patties, and the special sauce (which is also revealed). Oh, and the baguette.

So, the choice is yours — fly to France, wait for McDonald’s to bring the sandwich to your country, or just make it from the comfort of your own home. No matter how you go about it, the McBaguette people talking and may be worth a try.
