“It’s Britney, Bitch” just collided with “The Bitch Is Back.” That’s right: Britney Spears is returning from a six-year break from music. Big comebacks deserve something special, so, accordingly, the singer is teaming with Elton John for her new tune, per Newsweek.
Britney and Sir Elton recently recorded a cover of the latter performer’s “Tiny Dancer,” Newsweek said. The singers reportedly met at a recording studio in Beverly Hills to record vocals for the song. It will be produced by Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus) and due for release in August.
According to multiple reports, Britney is infatuated with the original version of the song, which Elton recorded in 1971. Now that she’s 40, perhaps Britney is starting to check off some items on her bucket list.
For his own part, 75-year-old Elton is still on his retirement tour, which started September 8, 2018. He is expected to finally throw in the towel — as a live performer, at least — on July 8, 2023.

Britney’s Back In The News Again … And Again … And Again
Beyond the collaboration, Britney is plenty busy making headlines — but, as usual, not of the music variety.
The photo that appeared on Page Six was not on Instagram.com/BritneySpears as of Thursday evening. However, the pop singer’s page did contain three other risqué photos and a video posted earlier in the day.
“Yo ma did you also let people know that’s one of the only times you text me back ???” the pop star, 40, wrote.
“Did you also tell people how you hid coffee every single morning ??? Did you tell them every morning when I would try to find coffee there were no pictures of me up in the kitchen, just Maddie and Jamie Lynn ??? Every single morning I would put a picture of me by you guys … and every morning you would put it away before I woke up!!!”
