It’s official, Walt and Jesse are getting back together. PopCorners revealed that Aaron Paul will be joining Brian Cranston to reprise their Breaking Bad roles as Jesse Pinkman and Walter White in its Super Bowl LVII commercial.

The campaign’s first video teaser, Lawn Chair, features Paul as Jesse, snacking on some PopCorners White Cheddar while sitting in one of the iconic lawn chairs. The other chair is empty next to him, as the camera pans out as he’s watching the sunset over the desert. There we see Jesse and Walt’s infamous RV that was used throughout the show. That’s when Jesse’s phone rings to which he asks “yo, what’s up?”
Aaron Paul Returns!
Back on January 4th, we learned about Cranston’s involvement in the Breaking Bad commercials that will air during the Super Bowl. Taking to Instagram to announce the surprise, he posted a photo of himself as Walter White with a bag in his hand, saying, “breaking soon.”
The Breaking Bad reunion comes after the prequel, Better Call Saul, which stars Bob Odenkirk and ended its season run on AMC. This was the final season in which both of the actors reprised their roles as Walt and Jesse, which they played throughout five seasons on AMC from 2008 to 2013. The show received several accolades including 16 primetime Emmy awards, eight Satellite Awards, two Golden Globe awards, two Critics Choice awards, two for Television Critics Association awards, and two Peabody Awards.

Cranston won The Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding lead actor in a drama series a total of four times, with Aaron Paul winning The Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series 3 times. The show is so popular that it even entered the Guinness World Record as the most critically acclaimed TV show of all time.
Looks like we’ll have to wait for the big day to see the anticipated reunion. The Super Bowl is set to air on Sunday, February 12th at 6:30/5:30, Fox.
