The Maroon 5 addressed the allegations, which have been making the rounds on social media, in an Instagram story.
“A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air,” Levine wrote in an Instagram story. “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair; nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life.”

LeVine, 43, has been married to Prinsloo since 2014. The couple share two children together. A model, Prinsloo appeared in the 2018 Maroon 5 video Girls Like You, along with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Cardi B, Gal Gadot and Ellen DeGeneres.
As for the alleged affair, Levine admitted that his behavior was inappropriate in “certain instances.” He went on to write that he has “”addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again.”
Levine’s comments took place following a viral TikTok video from model Sumner Stroh, who claimed she an Levine had a yearlong affair. She shared screenshots of messages and said she came forward because she feared the relationship would hit the tabloids.
Levine and Prinsloo are reportedly expecting their third child together. Their two daughters are ages 5 and 4.
