This is making the actor to consider taking quite a step back from living a busy life. “Brad has decided that he wants to live a peaceful life going forward and is deciding what ‘semi-retirement’ looks like for him,” a source close to the actor told Page Six. “One thing he’s decided is that he will likely continue acting,” The Source went on to reveal before saying that he will likely step away from other business ventures.

Last year he surprised the world after he launched a new genderless skincare line, Le Domaine. He also previously bought Chateau Miraval with his now ex-wife Angelina Jolie, which he owns.

“While Brad has put a lot of time into the various [businesses based out of the French estate, Chateau Miraval, he bought with Angelina Jolie], and his other interests like architecture, he is absolutely committed to his film career,” an insider shared. “He is not leaving Hollywood.”

Another source went on to tell Page Six, “He is considering leaving Hollywood and moving to France and doing his vineyard and art and making furniture … He just wants to live in peace.”

The actor currently has a film on the big screen opposite Margot Robbie in Babylon which is currently in theaters. Although the 59-year-old has several other projects in line as a producer, he is starring in an unnamed Formula1 film Project which has yet to have a release date.

Representatives for Pitt have not yet responded to any requests for comment about the actor’s decision to semi-retire.
