Cynthia Nixon wrote quite a heartwarming birthday message to her Sex and the City BFF, Sarah Jessica Parker, whom she referred to as her “longtime friend.”

“Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other is gold. A circle is round, it has no end. That’s how long, I will be your friend,” Nixon wrote in the Instagram caption. “Happy birthday to my old friend @sarahjessicaparker. So glad to still be walking next to you after all this time,” she wrote alongside a photo of her and the now 58-year-old walking as their Sex and the City characters, Miranda and Carrie.

Their co-star, Kristen Davis, who plays Charlotte on SITC, also showed Parker some love with several photos of them together on her Instagram story. She celebrated with different Happy Birthday stickers and photos.
“Twenty-five years! So lucky to walk through this Life with you @sarahjessicaparker. Here’s to another year together,” Davis wrote on a photo of them holding hands. She also went on to share a photo of her hugging Parker while they were on the set of their spinoff And Just Like That…, writing “Love you.”
And Just Like That… was renewed for a second season back in March 2022 with production beginning in October. Parker had confirmed in September 2022 that John Corbett would reprise his role in season 2 of HBO Max’s Sex and the City revival. Corbett played Aidan Shaw, who is Carrie’s most notable love interest.
Season 2 of And Just Like That..will premiere summer of 2023 with the first 10 episodes, as well as all six seasons of SATC, are currently streaming on HBO Max.
