Daniel Radcliffe is not just the star of the new Weird Al Yankovic movie. He’s also a fan of Weird Al Yankovic.

So when Radcliffe and girlfriend Erin Darke showed up at the Toronto International Film Festival to view Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Radcliffe snapped some pictures with Weird Al himself.
Radcliffe, 32, portrays Yankovic in the movie, which will be exclusively available on The Roku Channel starting Nov. 4.
Radcliffe and Yankovic weren’t the only celebrities in attendance for the premiere. So was Evan Rachel Wood, who plays Madonna in the movie, as was director Eric Appel.
The movie also stars Rainn Wilson, Julianne Nicholson and Jimmy Walker Jr., to name a few.
Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
But it is Daniel Radcliffe who is at the center of attention. Most know him from his work in the Harry Potter series, but Yankovic predicted even greater things are in store.
“I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for,” Yonakovic joked upon announcement of the movie.
Weird Al is known for his parodies of popular songs, including Eat It, a fun ripoff of Michael Jackson’s Beat It. Jackson, the late King of Pop, was said to be a big Yankovic fan.
Along with that, Weird Al had fun with songs such as Madonna’s Like a Virgin, changing it to Like a Surgeon, and of course, changing the Chamillionaire hit Ridin‘ (Dirty) to White and Nerdy.
All of this and more is sure to be depicted in Weird Al’s wild and wacky life story, portrayed by Radcliffe.
