Party on, Miley! Party on, Dolly!
The inaugural Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party turned out to be the #1 most social entertainment special across all TV in 2021, excluding awards shows, Sony’s statement noted.
The company further mentioned that the Party won NBC’s best New Year’s Eve viewership in the 18-49 and 18-34 demos since 2014.
Jen Neal — who is Executive Vice President, Entertainment Live Events, Specials and E! News, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming — drummed up excitement for the event in the press release.
“The inaugural Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party was an unqualified success, and we know this year’s show will be just as spectacular, with plenty of surprises and lots of fun,” Neal said. “We can’t wait to get the party started.”
Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will air live on NBC from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET. The special will also stream live on Peacock.
