Holy moly, talk about an All-Star group! Dolly Parton, Belinda Carlisle,  Gloria Estefan, Debbie Harris, and Cyndi Lauper have just released a brand new track, “Gonna Be You.” The star-studded track is said to be featured on the soundtrack for The Paramount Pictures film, 80 FOR BRADY,  which is set to be released in theaters on February 3rd.

“What an honor to sing a song by my favorite songwriter with four other women who I have been a fan of for years! It doesn’t get much better than this,” Carlisle shared.

“This was such a great project to be part of because it was nice to be able to join forces with my pals for the song,” Lauper added. “Each of these women mean a lot to me. Friendships between women are important and I think Diane’s lyrics captured that. It was really touching. You don’t often see female ‘buddy movies’ so this was fun.”

The upbeat song is accompanied by a music video that features clips from the film as well as clips of each singer performing the track. It was directed by four-time Canes Gold Line Award winner Alex Ogus, and features the singers wearing blinged-out Tom Brady football jerseys, embracing their movie characters’ devotion to the football star.

“I’m so excited to be a part of 80 for Brady and the Diane Warren title song for it. Working with Jane, Lily, and Sally Field again, my older pals that are in the movie, and then working with all the wonderful artists on the song and video, like Belinda Carlisle, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan and Debbie Harry was a joy. This is very exciting to me. I love feeling like I’m still part of something great and being with those gals that we know are great was a thrill,” Parton stated.

Estefan went on to say, “When my good friend, Diane Warren invited me to be a part of “Gonna Be You” and told me who’d be on it with me it was a resounding YES! What an honor to share this incredible experience with women that I have admired for decades!”

The new single was written by Grammy winner, Diane Warren. The storyline for the movie was sparked by a true story of four best friends who vowed to live their life to the fullest as they embark on a trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI and hope to watch their hero, Tom Brady, play. The film also stars Academy Award nominee Lily Tomlin,  Academy Award winner, Academy Award winner Jane Fonda, and Academy Award winner Sally field. Brady is also said to make an appearance in the film.
