Blake Shelton’s wife doesn’t want to end up like Adam Levine’s wife and doesn’t want her husband to be associated with a cheater.

So basically, she asked him to cut all ties with Levine.
Oh, Shelton’s wife is no less than pop star Gwen Stefani, who used to be the wife of Gavin Rossdale, the frontman for the band Bush.
Anyway, according to a source (via Meaww.com), Stefani wants Shelton to steer clear of Levine, who admitted to “inappropriate behavior in certain instances” while married. Levine, of course, the face of Maroon 5 and Shelton’s former co-star on The Voice.
And that is where Stefani wants the relationship between Shelton and Levine to end, it seems.

“For her, it’s personal,” the source said, via Meaww. “She isn’t worried about Adam being a bad influence [on Blake], this is about principle.”
That may not be an issue. Apparently, Shelton and Levine haven’t been all that close since Levine bolted The Voice in 2019, with one source describing their friendship as being “on life support.”
They were basically friends for the cameras, anyway.
“It wasn’t all an act, but the relationship was exaggerated for TV,” the source said. “When Adam left the show the two of them didn’t have to pretend anymore, they haven’t spoken in a while. There was no big dramatic falling out, but they both just moved on. It happens all the time with work relationships,” the source said.
Shelton, 46, has been married to Gwen Stefani, 53, since 2021. Before that, he was married to fellow country star Miranda Lambert (2011-15). Meanwhile, Levine has been married to Behati Prinsloo since 2014.
He took part in what he deemed “flirtatious” behavior with others but denied anything ever got physical.
“A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air,” Levine wrote in an Instagram story. “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair; nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life.”
No matter, that’s clearly not good enough for Stefani, who wants Shelton to avoid Levine, as perhaps any wife would want their husband to do.
