Mirren — who is four years younger than Stewart, if anyone’s counting — is kinda like her dignified U.K. counterpart. She’s the only actor to have earned the Triple Crown of Acting in both countries and continues to participate in high-quality films.
Mirren’s Romantic Life in the 1980s
Mirren lived with Liam Neeson in the early 1980s while working on 1981’s Excalibur. When interviewed by James Lipton for Inside the Actors Studio, Neeson disclosed Mirren helped him get an agent.
Shortly thereafter, Mirren met director Taylor Hackford (Ray, An Officer and a Gentleman) on the set of 1985’s White Nights. They married on the last day of 1997 and celebrate 25 years of marriage this year.
Hackford, like all Mirren’s old flames, has a keepsake she gives all her exes: a shirt that she stitched together herself.
“I did make one for Liam, oddly enough,” Mirren told the American Association for Retired Persons (AARP). She added: “We loved each other. We were not meant to be together in that way, but we loved each other very, very much. I love him deeply to this day. He’s such an amazing guy.”

Mirren — who is part of the Yellowstone spinoff 1923 with Harrison Ford — showed up in its recently released, 30-second teaser trailer.
The spinoff airs on December 18 on Paramount+.
