The King of All Media apparently isn’t a fan of Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex.

Howard Stern joined the chorus of high-profile media personalities who are irritated or even disgusted by Netflix’s Harry & Meghan docuseries.
Last week, Stern called the couple “whiny b**ches” on his SiriusXM show, The Howard Stern Show, according to Mediaite. As of Tuesday of this week, video clips of Stern making the reported comments still weren’t on YouTube.
Stern hate-watched some of the six-part series, which Netflix aired in two phases, on Dec. 8 and 15, consisting of three episodes each.
“It’s been painful” to watch, Stern allegedly remarked. “My wife wants to watch it, so, you know, we have shows we watch, but they come off like such whiny bitches. I gotta tell you man, I just don’t get it.”
The Sussexes’ Docuseries Is Making Odd Bedfellows
In a statement earlier this month, Netflix touted Harry & Meghan as “an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series [in which] the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story.”
The statement continued: “The series explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution.”
Say what you will about the series, Harry & Meghan is certainly making odd bedfellows. Stern’s opinion echoed similarly negative sentiments that Megyn Kelly and hosts of The View recently voiced about the docuseries — and its central figures personally.
Harry & Meghan is drawing huge numbers for Netflix. In the U.K., it’s the most-watched Netflix program of 2022, according to Deadline.
Still, maybe it wasn’t such a great idea, after all, to release a documentary revolving around a prince and his wife enduring grief. Instead of leaning into public exposure, maybe the smarter move at this point would be to take a step back and go away for a while.
