Beloved actors Jennifer Aniston, 54, and Adam Sandler, 56, have worked together for years, and their fondness for each other certainly shows that. Aniston and Sandler both attended the premiere of their new Netflix film Murder Mystery 2, and spoke to People about how much they care about each other.

On her friendship with Sandler, Aniston told People, “Yes, there’s trust. We trust each other and we know that we’re going to have a good time. We have each other’s back. We take care of each other. Neutral, deep respect for each other.”

Aniston added that Sandler is an incredible comedic actor to work with, and that, “the consistency of who he is and the wonderful time we always have together,” is what makes their friendship so great. Aniston also said, “He’s just exactly who he is and has been since I’ve met him,” and that she will “just always have a wonderful time” in “every moment” when they are together.
Sandler, in turn, also had some kind words to say about Aniston. He told People the story of how they first met, saying, “I remember when we first met, we had breakfast together and I thought she was funny as hell. Then I saw her a few more times and I just always … she made me happy when I’d see her.” Sandler then added, “She’s just funny. She’s great hanging out with guys, great hanging out with girls, knows what to say, knows how to calm you down. But I just remember, anytime I’d be out and I’d see her, I’d be like, ‘Oh, there’s Aniston.’ And we’d go over to each other and start laughing.”
Despite their lengthy friendship, Aniston and Sandler have only appeared in three movies together. In 2011, Aniston and Sandler starred in the romantic comedy Just Go with It, which also featured Nicole Kidman and Brooklyn Decker. Sandler and Aniston then reunited for the hit Netflix film Murder Mystery in 2019. The sequel, Murder Mystery 2, will be available to stream on Netflix on March 31.
