Cancel culture has gotten out of control in the eyes of some, and John Rich is clearly among those who have had enough.
We know this because the country music star shared a video clip of a new track on Twitter, telling the audience it’s called “I’m Offended,” before going on to sing a few verses.

“Brand new song called ‘I’m Offended!’” Rich tweeted. “Whatcha think? #ImOffended”
The lyrics began, “Seems like these days, no matter what you say, someone’s losing their ever-loving mind.”
“It’s like they’re looking for a reason to have their fragile feelings hurt. Every single time.”
Rich goes on to sing about gassing up his truck, and how he’s breathing free while “you’re still stuck behind your mask.”
This is hardly new territory for Rich, 49. He has previously argued against lockdowns and mandates, and publicly ripped Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top medical adviser to the president.
He also recently won a lawsuit against a venue that sued him for canceling a show. Rich said he canceled after the venue demanded concertgoers show proof of vaccination upon entering the building.

“During the lockdowns, I stated I’d NEVER play a concert venue that forced fans to show their ‘papers'”‘ for entry concerning Covid,” Rich tweeted on Jan. 19. “One venue added that rule after I agreed to play, so I canceled it. The promoter sued me. He LOST the case today! Happy to say I never bent the knee.”
Rich offered no clues as to when the “I’m Offended” track may be released, or if it is for social media only. A former member of Lonestar and Big & Rich, his last single, Progress, came out in 2022.
