Congratulations are in order for Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson! The 29-year-old announced the birth of their first child, baby boy named Leodis “Leo” Andrellton on Monday. The new mom excitedly shared the happy news, alongside some pictures, on her Instagram after welcoming their son.

“Hey Son!!!!” Palmer wrote. “Born during Black History Month, with a name to match! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo.”

On the first slide, she posted a picture of herself and her partner as new parents, just 48 hours after giving birth. Following that, she uploaded a video of herself singing “Someone” by El Debarge to Jackson in the car, which he had included in his playlists for her during the early days of their relationship.
“We became each other’s someone and made a someone, look at God!” the actress stated.
Palmer also shared photos of their family of three in the hospital after welcoming her child, including close-ups of the baby boy’s face. “‘I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world.’ Hahaha,” she stated, adding, “I’m just playing, my baby face is on this slide … And this slide.”
During her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live in December, the actress announced that she and Jackson, a former college football player and fitness instructor, were expecting their first child together.

“There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight — I am!” Palmer stated during her opening monologue, unbuttoning her jacket to reveal her baby bump.
The Hustlers actress has kept details of her relationship with Jackson under the scne. When appearing on The Tamron Hall Show last November, she opened up about becoming social media official with Jackson.
“It became more difficult to hide,” she at that time. “We spend all this time together, and he really is my closest friend, so it just becomes a thing where I’m not gonna hide something that makes me happy.”
