Kelly Clarkson debuted her new song “Piece by Piece” on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday, and it is incredibly emotional.

Clarkson, who is pregnant with her second child, performed beautifully in front of DeGeneres’ packed studio audience. Toward the end of the song, you can see the emotion on her face and hear it in her voice. This song was inspired by Clarkson’s estranged father, and it certainly brings up painful memories for the singer.
