Madonna’s marriages went great, unless you count … well, both of them.

That comes straight from the Material Girl herself, as she answered 50 questions about books, love and, oh yeah, sex on YouTube.

Speaking of sex, Madonna, 64, admitted she has never been able to get enough.

But let’s start with marriage. Madonna was hitched to actor Sean Penn from 1985-89, then film director Guy Ritchie from 2000-08. Yes, that Sean Penn. This is news to us too, honestly.

The couple actually met in 1985 on the set of the singer’s “Material Girl” music video. Both had just gotten out of a relationship, so initially started off as friends only.

50 Question With Madonna

But, after six months together they’d decided to tie the knot in August 1985 on the singer’s 27th birthday. They went on to work together, starring in the 1989 comedy Shanghai Surprise. They were said to be so in love that Madonna even dedicated her 1986 album, True Blue, to him.

Well, forward to now, everything has changed. When asked what decision in life wasn’t her best decision, Madonna gave a simple answer:

“Getting married. Both times!”

Apparently, the reason for her divorce from Penn was due to his unpredictable temper tantrums and outbursts. Oh, and he was insanely jealous too, which we can’t blame him to be fair. He even went on to attack songwriter David Wolinksi in a night club back in 1986 after he thought he kissed Madonna. Big yikes.

Anyways, now for the sex part. Madonna says it’s an absolute “obsession.” She proved as much in a recent Instagram video, where she messed around with several other women.

Anyway, what makes all this more interesting is Madonna eventually added that if she weren’t a world-renowned pop star, she would have been a teacher.

We can only guess what subjects she’d opt to teach.
