Meadow Walker, now a model in her mid-20s, recently reflected on her father with daily tabloid Page Six.

“They always say the first thing you forget about someone is their voice, so I’m fortunate enough to have his voice in many movies,” she reportedly said. “I like to watch [his movies] at night. For me, it brings me joy to talk about him and keep his spirit alive.”

Meadow Walker spoke further with Page Six in New York City.

Meadow Walker Reflects on Paul Walker

“Honestly, I just saw him as my dad, and I think he kept me very behind the scenes of everything, so I didn’t realize how big his fan base was,” she reportedly said. “To see the continuation — even now, the outpouring of love is honestly kind of amazing but also weird. It’s like, ‘That’s my dad,’ but at the same time, it’s amazing. He’s an amazing person, he’s my best friend, [and] it’s lovely to see how many people love him. He was seriously my best friend, my confidante, my everything. I feel like he’s always with me.”

As one would expect, it took Meadow Walker a long time to accept the death of her father. Additionally, as is so often the case with surviving family and friends of celebrities, she had a rough slog dealing with the fallout of her dad’s death.

Paul Walker, who will forever be associated with the Fast and Furious franchise in which he played a major role, died in a fatal Porsche car crash in 2013. He was 40 years old.

Meadow filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the German car company. The parties later reached a confidential settlement.
