We’ve seen a lot of Paris and Prince Jackson lately, or at least more than usual. The children of Michael Jackson are stepping out a little bit more, bringing his legacy back to life in the process.

Recently, they took to Instagram to celebrate what would have been their father’s 64th birthday, sharing photos and sentiments.
“Happy birthday to the greatest! Miss you more and more but I love you more and more with each day,” Prince wrote alongside a set of vintage pictures of him and his dad. “Thank you for everything.”
Prince Pays Tribute on Instagram
Paris shared her own post on her Instagram story, showing her and her famous father exchanging a kiss when she was still a little girl. “HBD” she wrote as the caption.
Just last year, Prince talked about some of the things he learned from his dad, known around the world as The King of Pop.
“You know, there are so many nuggets there that are just so close to my heart that I feel like they’re applicable at all times,” Prince told Fox Soul. “But the one that is my guiding principle is that you never stop learning. I graduated, and that doesn’t mean that I stopped learning. My father also would say something along the lines of, ‘The minute that you stop learning is the minute that you’re going to start dying.’”

Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50.
Amazingly, he had no formal music training and could not read or write music notation. Yet he produced some of the world’s favorite music and clearly, some close-knit children. He is one of the best-selling musical artists of all time, with more than 400 million records sold worldwide.
