And widowed ex-wife Debbie Rowe seemingly is taking some of the blame.

Rowe married Jackson in 1996, shortly after his marriage to Lisa Marie Presley ended. Pressley is the daughter of Elvis Pressley.

Rowe was the assistant of Jackson’s dermatologist, Arnold Klein, and initially agreed to be a surrogate mother to Jackson. They ended up married.

Klein, who died in 2015, came under fire for providing Jackson with what appeared to be more painkillers than the pop star needed. Considerably more, in fact. But again, Rowe said in a documentary on Jackson that she played a role.

“I was basically as bad as (Klein) and I am so sorry I participated in it,” Debbie Rowe said.

She once blamed Klein as being the main culprit for feeding Jackson’s addiction to painkillers. That was during a civil trial in 2013.

Along with admitting her own role, Rowe has stated that Jackson was the primary caregiver to their children, Paris and Prince.

“You earn the title parent. I have done absolutely nothing to earn that title. That is because Michael did all the parenting,” she said, via Marca.

“I didn’t do it to be a mother. I didn’t change diapers. I didn’t get up in the middle of the night, even when I was there, Michael did it all.”

13 Years after his death, TMZ just released their documentary which explores the cause behind Jackon’s death. TMZ Investigates: Who Really Killed Michael Jackson? first a teaser showed a collection of several exclusive interviews with Jackon’s medical team and Jackson’s family members. It featured big names such as Dr. Drew Pinsky and Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter after Jackon’s death.
