Nicolas Cage, 58, is now a father again, having a child with wife Riko Shibati.

This is just the third child for Cage, but comes 31 years after his first.
“Nicolas and Riko are happy to announce the birth of their daughter,” a rep for the couple told People. “Mother and baby are doing fine.”
Cage seemingly has a child every 15 years or so. He is also the father to sons Weston, 31, and Kal-El, 16, with exes Christina Fulton and Alice Kim, respectively. Shibata, 29, is half his age, but hey, that’s Hollywood for ya.

Cage recently told Kelly Clarkson that his wife was expecting a girl, and that they intended to name her Lennon Augie — as a tribute to both John Lennon and Cage’s father, August Coppola.
“I’ll call her Lenny for short,” Cage told Clarkson. “I’m thrilled. It’s going to be the biggest adventure of my life.”
Cage met Shibati in 2019. He actually proposed to her via FaceTime, PageSix reported. At the time, he admitted that he wanted to enjoy the things that fathers get to enjoy with younger children.
“I miss it all. I miss watching a child discover things for the first time,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “The way the sunlight shines through a leaf. Taking them to have a lobster dinner and have them freak out at the table. … I miss going to the toy store. I miss singing lullabies. I miss rocking in rocking chairs.”
Well, congrats to Cage and his wife, because he will get to experience those things once again, proving that they can be fun at any age.
