Pamela Anderson is back and talking about her infamous sex tape with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, and was again open and honest about the impact it played on her life and career.

In short, it wasn’t pretty.

Anderson, 55, revealed as much in the new Netflix documentary, Pamela, a Love Story, as the recently released trailer revealed.

The 1996 sex tape scandal was among the first among its kind, and Anderson and Lee were powerless once it got out. Then, about 25 years later, it came to light again in the Hulu documentary Pam & Tommy. The tape resurfaced as a result, much to the chagrin of Anderson.

“I blocked that stolen tape out of my life in order to survive, and now that it’s all coming up again, I feel sick,” Anderson said in the trailer.

Hence, the reason for the new doc.

“I want to take control of the narrative for the first time,” she added.

As for Pam & Tommy, a source told Entertainment Weekly that Anderson would never watch it. Like, ever.

“I do know she’ll never, never watch this,” the source said. “Not even years from now. Not even the trailer.”

Shortly after the release of the Hulu hit, Anderson announced that she would be doing her own documentary.

“The film, which has been in the making for several years, will feature the pop culture icon setting the record straight as she looks back on her professional path and her personal journey,” Netflix announced.

So this is the scandal as told by Anderson, and her attempt to set the story straight.
