When a former member of The Beatles asks you to join him on stage, well, how can you refuse? And when Paul McCartney asked Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi to play along, they seemed to gladly accept.

McCartney invited both rockers to perform with him during the final leg of his “Got Back” tour, which just happened to take place in New Jersey — the home state of both Springsteen and Bon Jovi.
McCartney played a 40-song set, with Springsteen joining him for two, including The End off The Beatles’ Abbey Road album. Oh, and they fittingly sang the Springsteen tune, Glory Days, because that was likely what the audience was reliving.

Meanwhile, Bon Jovi took the stage in between the two Springsteen performances to sing Happy Birthday to McCartney.
“Does anybody in the audience have a birthday,” McCartney asked from the MetLife stage.
Bon Jovi responded, “Welcome to New Jersey. I know 60,000 people who (want to sing Happy Birthday to You).”
McCartney thanked Bon Jovi and the crowd, then broke into The Beatles’ Birthday song.
I was there. It was such a thrill to sing happy birthday with 60,000 new friends to Paul…..an old friend ❤️
