Reese Witherspoon’s children are the spitting image of their mother. She shares one son and daughter with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe and another son with her current hubby Jim Toth. Her daughter, Ava Phillippe, looks so much like her that people have called them “twins” and “clones.” Here is a look at Reese Witherspoon’s three talented, beautiful kids.

Ava Elizabeth Phillippe

Reese Witherspoon had Ava when she was only 23-years-old, on September 9, 1999. That makes Ava 23-years-old now!

Ava is currently in her senior year at UC Berkeley, and she is a very talented artist. She often shares photos of her art, which include sketches, portraits, abstracts, and sculptures, on her social media.

In the midst of studying and creating art, Ava was approached by world-renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath. McGrath asked Ava if she wanted to work together on her Bridgerton campaign, which nearly floored Ava.

Ava told E! News that having McGrath reach out to her was “so special.”

“This is someone I idolize as a creative and who I really, really deeply admire and respect,” she said. “And for her to reach out to me, of all people, and to think of me and be so generous in that process was just something else, so special.”

Ava’s Style Was Inspired By Reese and Her Grandma

That jump-started Ava’s modeling portfolio. She then went on to be a part of Beyoncé’s AdidasxIvy Park campaign along with her brother, Deacon. Ava has also modeled alongside her mom in Reese’s Draper James campaign. They truly look like twins.

In a Q&A on the Draper James website, Ava said that she gets some of her fashion inspiration from her mother but tries to pave her own path.

“The best thing about how my mom has influenced my style is that, while I do take her advice, it’s still my own,” she said. “She and I agree on a lot of what’s ‘fashionable,’ but we have different taste, and she’s really respectful of my personality as I express it through clothes.”

She added, “I think as a teenager, it’s important to have both guidance and freedom in finding your style, and my mom is really good at balancing that.”

Reese Witherspoon also had some sweet words to say about her daughter and her style.

“There is nothing like the love I have for my daughter. We share every emotion with each other, our hopes, and dreams… We can talk for hours!!” Reese said.

“Ava and I also share clothes sometimes, and it makes me so happy to see how she expresses her own personal style with each outfit she creates,” said the Legally Blonde actress. “She is cutting her own creative path in this world, and I could not be prouder of her.”

When InStyle asked Reese what her thoughts were on being compared to her daughter, she said it makes her “feel so young.”

“I love being mistaken for her because it makes me feel so young,” she said. “I’m so proud of her. She really rolls with it. I’m sure it’s not easy looking exactly like your mother.”

The Mother-Daughter Connection Is Real

At Coachella, Ava Phillippe also told People that she and her mom have a style connection even when they’re apart.

“When we’re separated, we’re like, ‘What are you wearing? Oh! That’s weirdly similar,” Ava said.

Ava also told People that she has early memories of her grandma doing her makeup. That, and watching her mom get ready for events helped her develop her own sense of style.

“My first memories of makeup are of [watching] my grandmother and the way she does her lipstick and her blush and her eyeliner. And the way my mom would get glammed up for events,” she said.

Deacon Reese Phillippe

Deacon was born on October 23, 2003, which means he just celebrated his 19th birthday! He just finished high school last spring, which Reese commemorated with a proud post on Instagram.

Deacon is following in his parents’ footsteps and has already started an acting career as Parker in the comedy series Never Have I Ever. However, his true passion is music, and he’s spoken about preferring to stay behind the camera (although that was before his TV debut).

Deacon spoke with Interview Magazine in the midst of the rising COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020. His family had relocated from LA to Nashville, where he picked up on the music vibes and started producing his own tunes!

Deacon on How His Dad Ryan Phillippe Helped Him Pave His Path

“When I was listening to the radio in the car with my dad, something just clicked,” he told Interview Magazine. “I realized there’s more to making music than just being a vocalist, and that a lot of times it’s the production that makes me feel something. I asked my dad about how it works, and he taught me all the stuff he knew, and then I started watching YouTube videos.”

Deacon started making music digitally, and soon he was in the iTunes Top 20. His debut single, “Long Run,” features Nina Nesbitt’s vocals. He and Nesbitt star in the song’s music video. And proud momma Reese posted a hilarious TikTok video of herself dancing to her son’s single, much to his chagrin.

Ryan Phillippe recently told Extra that he hears that Deacon looks like Reese a lot, too. But he also hears that Ava looks like him.

“What I get a lot lately is they think Deacon looks like her and Ava looks like me,” the Cruel Intentions actor said. “My response is always, ‘Duh… How are you surprised that children look like their parents?’ Isn’t that biologically how it’s meant to work?”

On a side note, Diane Keaton once hilariously mistook Deacon for a younger Leonardo DiCaprio.

Tennessee James Toth

Tennessee, or “Tenn,” was born on September 27, 2012, making him 10-years-old now! His father is Reese Witherspoon’s husband, Jim Toth, whom she married in 2011.

Tenn is still quite young, and his parents try to keep him out of the spotlight. A couple years ago, Reese shared a photo of the two of them at home, doing homeschooling.

It’s clear that Tenn’s older siblings just adore him, too.

Last year, for his 9th birthday, Ava posted a photo with the caption: “Yesterday was my littlest brother’s birthday…& my gosh we’re all getting old! Happy happy birthday to this bold, sensitive, smart, & energetic boy. Sure, I was a big sister before him, but he made me an even better one! I love you, Tenn.”

And this last June, Deacon posted a sweet series of photos with the caption “Bean down.” In proper older-brother/younger-brother fashion, Tenn is getting carried around by Deacon while he’s laughing. The cute sibling interaction will just make your heart melt.
