‘Sister Wives’ Janelle and Kody Brown Split After Nearly 30 Years of Marriage

More often than not, TV season finales shock viewers with a cliffhanger ending that get people talking. But it’s what happened after Sunday’s season-ending episode of Sister Wives that viewers are discussing at their office water cooler today.

A trailer for One on One specials due to air on TLC, also home to Sister Wives, featured Kody and Janelle Brown saying on record that they are separated.

They split due to tensions that arose after Christine Brown divorced Kody, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Janelle and Christine Brown — along with Meri — are the wives of Kody Brown, around whose family the show is based. Sister Wives includes 18 children.

The program started 16 years ago.

Janelle Brown and Christine Brown: Still Friends, Right?

Janelle Brown recently shared her weight loss journey, Newsweek relayed in July. She working on her garden and moved to Coyote Pass. And that’s just part of it.

“We came out to the property. We’re starting to get things kind of ready for this next summer, and I remember how much I love it here,” she said on Instagram. “I was in town for the winter, and I love town. But gosh—and I forget what it’s like out here.

“When you look at this whole thing, come on. It’s just…amazing. I’m so excited to get out here this summer and work on it some more.”

Janelle recently shared on social media that she recently took a trip with Christine Brown to Disney.

The latter recently sold her part of the Flagstaff, Arizona, property around which the show is based to the 53-year-old patriarch.

Christine Brown, the fourth wife, reportedly “gifted” her portion of the Coyote Pass land in Flagstaff to Kody Brown and his fourth wife for $10.
