Family drama in a polygamous marriage? Nah, it couldn’t be …
In the increasingly complicated world of Sister Wives, the TLC reality show about Kody Brown and his clan, one of the family’s children says she doesn’t like one of the wives. To qualify that statement, it’s one of the wives who isn’t her mother.
Gwendlyn, daughter of Christine Brown, said she “doesn’t really like” Robyn Brown in a YouTube video lasting more than 20 minutes. Gwendlyn posted the video on the streaming platform through her own account.
It’s unclear whether Gwendlyn is the only person in the ever-expanding family who feels that way about Robyn Brown.
On her YouTube account, Gwendlyn describes herself as “one of the kids from SisterWives and I bring a unique perspective (if it’s possible to get any more unique than reality tv polygamists) to my family’s lifestyle as an autistic bisexual. Since I am such a niche character, I thought I’d share what I’ve been through for people to understand and for others to relate.”
Keeping Up with the Browns
As for Robyn, she is the only current wife of Kody Brown. However, Sister Wives also encompasses the lives of Kody’s exes Janelle, Christine, and Meri — and their 18 children.
The latest season of Sister Wives ended earlier this month. Following it, fans of the show were shocked by a trailer for One on One specials due to air on TLC. In it, Kody and Janelle Brown said on record that they are separated.
They split allegedly due to tensions that arose after Christine Brown divorced Kody. Christine Brown announced her split with Kody Brown in November of last year.
TLC premiered Sister Wives in September 2010. Since then, the reality-TV show has followed the Brown family during their moves from Lehi, Utah; to Las Vegas; to Flagstaff, Arizona.
