Drew Carey:

Carey played a version of himself as an everyman kind of dude. He works in the HR department for a department store called Winfred-Lauder. He has a crew of friends and gets into life-esq situations with them, including dating multiple friends, Christa Miller and Cynthia Watros (Kellie). The real-life Drew was known for hosting Price is Right, Drew Cary’s Sporting adventures, Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza, dancing with the stars. He’s diversified and hosted shows on satellite radio, as well.

Christa Miller:

Star from Cougar Town and Scrubs, miller was no stranger to acting. The Kate O’Brien character was married to Carey in season 7. Drew and Kate, however, only last until the beginning of season 8. Off of the show, she appeared on TV shows like The Andromeda Strain and CSI: Miami, and Cavalier. She is married to Spin City co-creator Bill Lawrence.

Since leaving the show, he has had a very successful career in Hollywood films. He was in Grand Torino, Shutter Island, and the Zodiac Killer in David Fincher’s Zodiac.

Kathy Kinney:

Kinney played Mimi Bobeck; Drew’s number one enemy in the show. She is his co-worker at the department store. Her other works included a recurring role on The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Continuing work in children’s entertainment, she created a children’s entertainment website called MrsP.com.
