According to YouTuber Erika Barker, while having drinks at a small bar in Tennessee she stumbled upon Sarina-Joi Crowe.

“Found Sarina-Joi Crowe at a near empty bar in a small Tennessee town. Her voice was so breathtaking to listen to. We asked her to play ‘I Will Always Love You’, and she was a little nervous as she had never done it before,” Barkers writes on YouTube.
“She took a few minutes to remember the lyrics, and then left us in awe. Please, someone sign this girl to a major label!”
What Barker may not have known is that Crowe was already familiar to many music fans thanks to a top-12 finish during the last season of “American Idol.”
Though she didn’t win the show, Crowe still makes music and during a sleepy night in a bar obliged Barker’s request to hear the Whitney Houston/Dolly Parton classic “I Will Always Love You.”
Crowe’s performance of the song honors both singers in her own way. She has a powerful voice a la Whitney Houston, but performs the song in a more traditional country arrangement a la Dolly Parton.
