After another rough year, don’t we all deserve another installment of Toy Story to give us some much-needed laughs? If that’s your wish, it just came true.
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen: Bros Forever
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen hanging out together is all it took to provoke speculation about a new Toy Story movie. Hanks and Allen voice the main characters in the series, Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear, respectively.
Onlookers recently saw Hanks and Allen having lunch together, according to Yahoo! News. He later spoke with the media outlet, about both his friendship with Hanks and the possibility of another Toy Story.
“I don’t think I’ve ever trusted a human being as much as Tom to listen to me,” Allen said.
Another Toy Story on the Way?
Kelly Clarkson pressed Tim Allen on the possibility of the new movie when he guested on her show.
“You were recently spotted with Tom Hanks,” Clarkson said, wasting no time addressing the Toy Story rumors. “Does that mean that there’s, like, another Toy Story coming?”
Allen, after thanking the Kelly Clarkson Show crowd for their applause, said: “Tom and I have become really close friends from [the first movie in the franchise]. He’s a very different person than me — and he eats off my plate.”
Allen continued: “He and differ on so many things. I adore that man’s heart and mind. [We have] the most peculiar lunches. It started during [the first movie], twice or three times a year. We’re like two old women, because we’ll sit almost too close to each other at a booth. It’s just weird. … I don’t think I’ve ever trusted another human being as much as Tom to listen to me — and vice versa. … He’s the first person who talks to me and doesn’t judge.”
