Authorities have identified four victims that lost their lives during the tragic mass shooting at Old National Bank in Louisville, KY. Thomas Elliot, 63, James Tutt, 64, Joshua Barrick, 40, Juliana Farmer, 45.

Additional Details

It has yet to be revealed if the victims were patrons or employees at the bank. The gunman has been identified as Connor Sturgeon, 23, who was an employee at the bank. He also died on the scene.
The shooter used a rifle. A motive for the crime has not been revealed by investigators.
Police have reported that Sturgeon was killed in a shootout. They are currently looking into whether he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound or shots fired by police.
In addition to the deceased, nine others were also injured in the shooting.
Nine people were injured in the shooting, in addition to the shooter. Officer Nickolas Wilt, 26, was one of those injured and is in critical condition. Three other victims are in non-critical condition, and three more have been released.
Tragic Events
At 8:30 a.m. eastern time, emergency dispatchers received a call that an active shooter was at the Old National Bank, according to LMPD Deputy Chief Paul Humphrey during a press conference. When officers arrived, shots were still being fired, and officials and the shooter exchanged gunfire.
The bank’s team members released a statement. “The safety of Old National Bank employees and everyone we serve in our banking center locations is paramount. As we await more details, we are deploying employee assistance support and keeping everyone affected by this tragedy in our thoughts and prayers.”
Just three weeks ago, on Monday, a shooting occurred. This tragedy followed the mass shooting at a Christian school in Nashville, which resulted in the deaths of three children and three adults.
