Wilson accidentally spilled plot details about Season 2 of the Disney+ show, he recently confessed in a new interview.

Marvel gave him a slap on the wrist for the disclosures, Owen Wilson also admitted. The comic book company implements strict policies keeping actors from divulging information about its programs.

Owen Wilson spoke to Esquire about the quagmire in an article posted Thursday on YouTube. He gave the interview while shooting Season 2 of Loki in London.

“I immediately get kind of self-conscious because [Marvel are] so kind of uptight,” he said.

Specifically, Wilson said he leaked that Mobius wears a mustache in Season 2 of Loki.

“When I let it slip that I’m wearing a mustache [as] Agent Mobius, I got an ominous text saying ‘Strike One,’ ” Wilson said. “I don’t know who that was from.”

He added: “We looked into it and we think it might have been [Marvel Studios boss] Kevin Feige using a burner phone or something. But that was never confirmed.”

It seems that Owen Wilson laced those last comments with sarcasm.

Either way, he’s staying tight-lipped from here on out. He also told ComicBook.com that Marvel reprimanded him “multiple times” for letting information about the new season slip.

Owen Wilson’s Comments Won’t Rain On Loki‘s Parade

As Variety notes, this isn’t the first time an actor playing a Marvel superhero dished out spoilers. Years back, Incredible Hulk and Bruce Banner actor Mark Ruffalo accidentally live-streamed a portion of Thor: Ragnarok on Instagram.

Loki is one of Marvel’s most lauded TV shows so far. Starring Tom Hiddleston as the titular character, the show — along with Hawkeye and Daredevil — has a rating of 92 percent on RottenTomatoes.com. The only Marvel TV shows with a higher rating on the website are Ms. Marvel, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and What If…?

Season 2 of Loki will consist of six episodes and, according to Variety, premiere halfway through next year.
