Miller is a staple of the DC Extended Universe, and it was expected that he’d be appearing in many more films in the coming years.  DCEU is produced by DC Films and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

But as Miller’s controversies and arrests continue to mount, ‘cancellation’ could be in his near future.

According to Rolling Stone, on March 30, Warner Bros. and DC executives held an emergency impromptu meeting to discuss Ezra Miller’s future with the studio following The Flash star’s recent arrest for disorderly conduct and harassment. According to an insider with knowledge of the situation, the consensus in the room was to pause any future projects involving Miller, including possible appearances in the DC Extended Universe.

The insider says Miller had “frequent meltdowns” during production last year on The Flash and described Miller as “losing it.”

ScreenGeek.net says it’s unclear how many actors Warner Bros. is considering to replace Miller as The Flash. However, one such name that a source close to the situation has informed us about is Dylan O’Brien. The 30-year-old actor is known for roles in both television and film, including the MTV series Teen Wolf. He also played the lead character in Love and Monsters.

Dylan O’Brien starred in Maze Runner franchise.

Fans have their own opinions for who could be the next Flash.

One popular choice is actor Grant Gustin, who has already played a version of The Flash for The CW’s Arrowverse. The studio has more than a year before it has to make any hard decisions about a potential sequel to The Flash.
