Taylor Cole Signs New Deal, Will Keep Making Hallmark Movies

Taylor Cole, star of such Hallmark Channel films as Falling for You, One Winter Weekend and Making Spirits Bright had signed an exclusive multi-picture deal to remain with the network.

The move by Crown Media Family Networks comes after Wednesday’s news that Candace Cameron Bure is moving to GAC Family, owned by former Hallmark president Bill Abbott.

“I am beyond excited for what is in store next,” Cole said. “Being able to continue creating such amazing stories is something that I hold near and dear to me. I am forever grateful for the work I get to do with Hallmark.”

“We are thrilled to have Taylor on board to star in multiple movies for Hallmark,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, executive vice president, programming, Crown Media Family Networks. “She brings so much joy and positivity to the Hallmark family and we look forward to continuing our work with her to create heartfelt stories that will touch our viewers.”

Cole has starred in a number of Hallmark original movies, including South Beach Love and One Perfect Wedding. She also stars as the title character in the Ruby Herring Mysteries series of films opposite Stephen Huszar.

Cole has also appeared on Salvation, CSI: Miami, and The Glades.

Hallmark had to lock in the star after losing Cameron Bure. The actress announced her move earlier this week, saying:

“I’m very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch,” she said on Tuesday. “I am constantly looking for ways that I can inspire people to live life with purpose. GAC fits my brand perfectly. We share a vision of creating compelling wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family.”

  1. Please Halmark do not have any LGBTQ content in the movies, Yes, I know there are people who practice this but it is not good for a family t have to have this pushed at them all the time in EVERY progran! I could quote you about 20 BIBLE versed that help support my view!

  2. I agree that Hallmark should stay with the family-friendly programming that everyone has appreciated for so many years and not bow down to this crazy notion of anti-family programs in any way! Thank you!
