Chris Pratt showed off his mic skills in 2014 by rapping verses from Eminem’s “Forgot About Dre” on the spot. And three years ago, the actor revealed that he has country-music singing chops too.

In July 2019, Chris Pratt shocked an unsuspecting crowd at a Nashville bar by crooning a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.”

After Pratt left Robert’s Western World, he pulled another country-music tune out of his pocket at another bar. According to Billboard, Pratt sang Garth Brook’s “Papa Loves Mama” that same night at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.

It was a wild night for Chris Pratt, to say the least.

The Ubiquitous Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt is making headlines all over the place lately, intentionally and perhaps not so much.

For starters, his blockbuster film Jurassic World: Dominion — which has made almost $1 billion at the box office — is still in theaters. Pratt recently confirmed that the third film in the new Jurassic Park trilogy marks the end of the franchise.

“You’ve got the legacy cast coming back, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, plus the cast of Jurassic World. Our storylines converge in a way that is very much a finale” Pratt told The Today Show.

The Jurassic Park franchise has grossed more than $5 billion worldwide.

Chris Pratt appeared in headlines earlier this week in relation to Jurassic World. Bryce Dallas Howard revealed she was paid “so much less” than previously reported compared with Pratt for the Jurassic World sequels.

The actors co-starred in the recent trilogy: 2015’s Jurassic World, 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and 2022’s Jurassic World DominionVariety said in 2018 that Bryce Dallas Howard only earned $8 million for Fallen Kingdom versus Pratt’s $10 million.

But Insider reported Monday that Bryce Dallas Howard told the news outlet that the pay gap was even bigger. She apparently didn’t cite exact amounts.

The actor added that, after she told Pratt about the pay difference, he requested she get paid equally on Jurassic-related video games and theme-park rides.

Finally, Pratt recently shot down rumors he might take over for Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones after that franchise’s upcoming fifth installment.
