Joshua Bass was staring deeply into a camera lens at the time his dad, Corporal James Bass, photobombed it like an old pro.
The 8-year-old Pearsontown Magnet Elementary student had no idea what was going on behind him and was still confused when the photographer showed him a picture that had his dad in it.
The photographer told him Joshua to turn around. That’s when everything finally made sense and he jumped in his father’s arms.
Cpl. Bass had been deployed in Kuwait for a year.
Joshua was pretty speechless, but one of the things he did say was “you’ve still got it,” getting a big chuckle out of dad and making this a really memorable homecoming.
