The theme for this week’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars” was America’s Choice; and viewers got to pick the dances, costumes, and music for each couple. For Army veteran Noah Galloway and partner Sharna Burgess, viewers chose a tango to the song “Geronimo,” with the pair clad in white.
The white costumes were actually the second choice, as most viewers wanted to see Galloway in an Army uniform. But he said he couldn’t just wear an Army costume — it had to meet Army dress standards, so dancing in uniform was out.
The judges had a little less praise for this dance than last week, though, criticizing his stiffness and saying that the dance was a little “blocky.” They acknowledged that Noah’s missing leg hinders what he can do, but had to score it fairly. He walked away with 31 out of 40 possible points.
With a double elimination tonight, his fans may have reason to be nervous.
