Lili Oren was excited enough to be playing in the national championships. Her soccer team, the Under-14 Chattanooga Football Club, was competing in the US Youth Soccer Association National Presidents Cup, which was a big deal in and of itself. But she had no idea that her dad was there, watching the game.

Army Captain Lex Oren had been deployed to Seoul, South Korea for 10 months. But he was able to make it back in time to watch her big game, traveling to Greenville from South Korea once she made the national tournament. He watched her play in secret, and then, as a team photo was arranged, he snuck in behind her. The entire time, she had no idea he was home. An incredible day became even more emotional for Lili when her dad tapped her on the shoulder — their emotional reunion had everyone cheering.
