The Navy is changing its look. Effective Oct. 1, the military branch will move away from its aquaflage or “blueberry” uniforms, in favor of green camouflage, the Navy announced Thursday.

Sailors will get three years to phase out the old uniforms.
Some had complained the blue uniforms, officially called Navy Working Uniform Type I, were uncomfortable and even flammable.
Navy sweats are also getting an update. They’ll feature a new logo that matches the physical fitness uniform. The updated look features silver reflective lettering to align with the logo on the physical therapy shirt and shorts.

Navy Secretary Ray Mabus made the announcement in a Facebook video, noting he’d heard the feedback from sailors and was acting on it.
