Senior Master Sergeant Lazarus Brown was deployed to Afghanistan for six months with the Air Force. When he was able to unexpectedly come home a few days earlier than planned, he and his wife decided to surprise their children, Malia and Lazarus, at their schools.

They had no idea he had been hiding out in their home the entire time. Tears flowed from both father and daughter as Malia ran into her dad’s arms — but there was still one more stop to make. They headed to the elementary school next to surprise Lazarus, who reunited with his father to cheers of “USA!”
