Officials at TPC Sawgrass have made sure to do a lot to honor local military families, from organizing a baby shower for military moms to creating a special Military Appreciation Day before the tournament begins. Pregnant mom-to-be Erica Scott was in attendance for both, while her husband, Charles Scott, was deployed on the USS Iwo Jima — or so she thought.

YM3 Scott had returned home to Jacksonville last Friday, but he wanted to give his wife a surprise. So he kept his homecoming a secret, and TPC Sawgrass helped him give his wife a reunion she would never forget.
