Commander Ryan Breed decided to apply for the chance to surprise his mom on Mother’s Day with online florist Teleflora. Not only was he chosen, but the video Teleflora made featuring his beautiful story went viral, with more than ten million views on Youtube so far.
In the video, a Teleflora delivery woman surprises Breed’s mother at her home with a video message from her son. In it, Breed thanks her for everything she’s given up, including a shot at becoming a professional athlete when she unexpectedly became pregnant. She traded in her own future for her son’s. As Breed thanks his mother for the sacrifices she has made for him, she cries, leaning in to the delivery woman’s shoulder at the end of the video. But the surprise wasn’t over: Breed then appeared around the corner, holding a bouquet of flowers for his mom.
