Just ask Carrie Underwood.
Carrie recently shocked thousands of attendees at the Passion 2017 concert series when she showed up unannounced as a performer, igniting the crowd with her signature song “Something in the Water.”

But just a few short days later, Christian non-profit group American Family Association criticized the Atlanta pastor who founded Passion 2017 for letting the country superstar sing at the concert, according to an article in “The Tennessean.”
“I was very frustrated that you would allow her to help lead thousands of people in worship,” American Family Association outreach director Wesley Wildmon said in a letter to Reverend Louie Giglio. “My frustration quickly turned to disappointment and then to sadness. Carrie Underwood encourages and supports homosexual marriage which the Word of God does not (1 Corinthians 6:12-20).”
