Hank Williams’ Grandson is the Spitting Image of Late Legend

It’s safe to say that the late and legendary Hank Williams Sr. left a mark on America. Hank Williams Jr. has left a musical mark, as well.

Though Hank III is the child of the burly bearded “Family Tradition” singer, he bares a strong resemblance to his granddaddy.

In this clip, Hank III is shown performing Hank Sr.’s song, “My Sweet Love Ain’t Around.” For his performance, he dons his grandfather’s signature suit and tie, which fits perfectly on his tall, lanky figure. Aside from his appearance, his vocals practically match his grandpa’s, too!

Then, backed by a fiddle and steel guitar player, the young prodigy leans into the vintage microphone and delivers the 1940s song lyrics. Yep! We’re sure old Hank would’ve done it that way!

According to Hank III’s Facebook page, the performance took place in 2010 on the set of The Marty Stuart Show. He also performed “Howlin’ At The Moon,” “Pictures From Life’s Other Side,” and “Hillbilly Fever.”
