On April 1, 2016, Kelsea Ballerini released her brand-new video for “Peter Pan.”
In the Kristin Barlowe directed clip shot in Las Vegas, Kelsea flaunts an array of outfits, including a breathtaking blue dress and a romantic-colored maroon gown. From the desert ground, she watches her fearless, dare devil of a boyfriend fly through the sky in an aircraft. Believing that the young love between them won’t last, Kelsea lets go of her childish ‘peter pan’ in the end.
“Peter Pan” is the third cut from Kelsea’s 2015 album, “The First Time.” Co-written by Forest Glen Whitehead and Jesse Lee, the song follows two No. 1 hits, “Dibs” and “Love Me Like You Mean It.”
Now, the 22-year-old songstress has returned to Las Vegas. Not for another making of a video, but for the 2016 ACM Awards.
Already a winner as ACM New Female Artist of the Year, Kelsea will share the stage with Nick Jonas to perform “Peter Pan.” The blonde bombshell is also nominated in the category for Female Vocalist of the Year. The 51st annual ACM Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday April 3, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
