The special bond that sisters share is unlike any other. And country music star Kimberly Schlapman is getting to see that first-hand.
Fans may recall that the Little Big Town member recently welcomed a new baby girl into her world named, Dolly Grace. The sweet darling is now sibling to Kimberly’s 9-year-old daughter, Daisy Pearl.

On Jan. 17, Kimberly took to Twitter to let fans know how everything’s been going so far between the new sisters. And by the looks of it, things couldn’t be better!

“Sisters,” Kimberly captioned along with a precious photo of her eldest daughter clasping Dolly’s tiny hand.
Turns out that Kimberly’s husband, Steven Schlapman, also celebrated his role as a doting daddy with a series of tweets. On Jan. 14, he captioned, “Thanks everyone for celebrating Dolly with us! She’s healthy, happy, & loved. She’s a sweet little bundle of preciousness!”

By the grace of God, the proud parents brought their new bundle of joy home through a successful domestic adoption, as confirmed by Kimberly’s rep. Although Kimberly never revealed that her family was planning to adopt, she did share that Daisy asked Santa for a sister.
We couldn’t be happier for the happy family of four.
