For country music fans who still can’t seem to get over the demise of the marriage between Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, the release of Blake’s new album, “If I’m Honest,” on May 20 has given them the excuse to dissect the new songs to see if by chance Blake infused some of his feelings about his now ex-wife into his lyrics.
And according to Twitter, they might have found one that he did.
“She’s Got a Way With Words” is a brutal comeback to a breakup and a play on words that hits at the core of a hurting soul. With lyrics such as “she put the her in hurt” and the “low in blow,” some see the song as a direct form of revenge toward Miranda, even though Blake didn’t write the song.
