The 12th season of “The Voice” is almost here. And already, we can tell that it’s going to be epic.
Not only will Blake Shelton and Adam Levine be back to make us laugh with their unstoppable humor, but Alicia Keys will also return with her amazing mentorship. If that’s not enough reason to tune into the show, perhaps Gwen Stefani is. She is set to reunite with her country beau Blake as the fourth coach!
But, the new dynamic of judges has one person feeling like the odd man out. You see, Adam has gotten used to his bromance with Blake. And, now that Gwen is going to be back in the picture, he’s feeling the blues.
“Blake hasn’t been making time for me lately. I’m a little saddened by that,” says Adam in an exclusive clip of the upcoming season, “Maybe a little jealous [too]. I miss my friend you know? It makes me super sad. I hope Blake will be my friend again.”
Of course, Adam was only joking, because the trio of judges are actually good friends in real life. In fact, Gwen and Blake recently attended Adam’s major milestone of receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“Everyone has so much respect for each other, and love,” says Adam about his co-stars. “We feel like we can go too far, but then realize you know, ‘hey we’re just messing around.’ So, it makes for the best moments.”
Indeed, it does. And, those are the kind of moments that we can’t wait to watch! Season 12 of “The Voice” premieres at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, Feb. 27 on NBC.
