On Feb. 15, Thomas Rhett and his gorgeous wife, Lauren, revealed that they were adopting a child from Africa, as well as expecting a baby of their own!

So, it comes as no surprise that fans may be wondering whether or not a girl or boy will be in the married couple’s future. Well, it turns out that the gender of their biological child will remain a secret – for now at least.
On Feb. 17, Thomas, who has already started opening up space in his tour bus to make room for the little ones, shared a video on Instagram telling fans that he and Lauren plan to hold off on finding out the sex of their little one.
“Me and Lauren just did an ultrasound and she is making me wait, and her, for us to find out if it is a boy or a girl,” says Thomas in the clip above.

Though the soon-to-be parents of two are leaving the baby gender to mystery, they did share that they planned on celebrating at Zaxby’s following the ultrasound.
Thomas Rhett and Lauren Gregory tied the knot in 2012. Lauren is expected to give birth in August! We couldn’t be happier for these two lovebirds!
