Garth went up on that stage that night to perform the old Bob Dylan song “To Make You Feel My Love.” Garth had recorded a version of the tune for the movie “Hope Floats,” whose soundtrack also included a version by none other than Trisha Yearwood. Garth’s cover went on to reach No. 1 on the country charts and earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Country Vocal Performance.
